There are two primary sorts of applications, Full or Outline applications however; there are variants of these primary strands. They are as follows:

• Full or Partial Demolition
• Demolition and Proposals for New Development
• Changes Of Use (few uses are allowed under permitted use rights, however, there are some alterations which will require an application)
• Listed Building Consent
• Conservation Area Consent
• Certificates of Lawfulness (for development undertaken over 5 years and changes of use over 10 years)
• Certificate of Lawful Existing Use/Development

Not forgetting once an application permitted, discharge of conditions necessary.
